WHAT a statement!Since the new car-ferry started in1990 the car-plaque on the island has reached epidemic proportions..Soon all remnants of a rural idyll is gone, as is the SILENCE! I thought your purpose in coming here was to RELAX! Enjoy the unique nature and abundant wildlife..You all have feet and bikes are for hire, other adequate transports does exist! Or did the politicians expect you to come here to admire all the fancy cars? Support this island and its islanders and leave that car ashore, PLEASE! This is a place where you should have the right to relax and enjoy...

In 1997, 22849 cars were shipped to and from Hven That is TWENTYTWOTHOUSANDEIGHTHUNDREDFORTYNINE cars! THIS, the ferryline and the politicians, consider as A MEASURE OF SUCCESS AND DEVELOPMENT What do YOU think, dear visitors? Tell them that! When the animals are gone, the last river is dead and the air is getting almost impossible to breath, then mankind will realize that YOU CANNOT EAT MONEY.(old indian saying)
